Divers Log
Thursday December 10
We woke to the smell of bacon; waffles, bacon and scrambled eggs for our pre-dive breakfast. The boat was moved from Half Moon Caye Wall to Long Caye. It was a gorgeous sunrise.
Our morning dives were at Silver Cave. We had many shark sightings; one was tagged 334, one had two white spots on its dorsal fin (maybe a tag got ripped out?) and a young one was un-tagged.
Second breakfast was peanut butter brownies with chocolate chips.
Our second dive on the same site we saw the 334 shark again.
Lunch was spaghetti with red sauce and garlic bread. I was in heaven.
The boat was moved to Long Caye Wall and we jumped in around 2 p.m. The visibility was starting to break down but we still had a nice dive. Jay spotted a Spotted Eagle Ray that hung out with us for a few minutes. We also saw another reef shark.

Afternoon snack was mini pizzas-made with homemade dough and they were quite good.
Jay and I declared beer-o’clock and blew off the second afternoon dive for more mini pizzas, beer and wine-we are after all on a trip...
The dinner menu was wonderful: baked ham, turkey, stuffing, gravy with coconut cream cake for dessert, all expertly prepared by Chef Carlos. A great way to close out our Belize adventure.
Final dives on Friday at Sandy Slope. Then Back to Belize City for our long journey back to Vermont.
