Dewey Mills Pond, Quechee, VT Paddle Report Last Monday, my friend and I paddled Dewy Mills Pond in Quechee, VT. It was just us two humans and the weather was spectacular. Saw my first open yellow water lily The Canada Geese babies were out and about. More photos: CLICK HERE The Hump Day Paddlers revisited Mill Pond in Windsor, VT. The last time there, Nancy and Jan helped rescue a kayaker who had fallen out of his kayak. This paddle was much more calm and no rescues were performed. The water level was high enough and the reeds and lily pads haven't taken over yet for we got to paddle a ways up Mill Brook. Last summer we paddled the pond and couldn't get far upstream. So Wednesday was a treat to see more of the brook.
