History of Beekeeping-Bill Mares to Speak at Woodstock Vermont History Center
On Sunday, October 13, at 2:00 pm, Bill Mares will present a slide show lecture at the Woodstock History Center on the history of beekeeping. Bill Mares, who is a writer and has been a beekeeper for 45 years, will share the evolution of beekeeping over the past 10,000 years, including the present-day challenges which honey bees face. This program, which is sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council, is free and open to the public. The Woodstock History Center is located at 26 Elm Street.
