Lyle and Shawn and Bakkhai, What a Weekend of Performances.
We traveled to Troy, NY last Thursday, March 8 to see Lyle Lovett and Shawn Colvin at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall.
We've seen Lyle with John Hiatt, Vince Gill and Robert Earl Keen. This tour with Shawn has a different vibe and I for one really enjoyed it. Having front row seats helps in enjoying the show too, thanks Jay!

We again had great seats for Lyle Lovett and Shawn Colvin at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, Burlington, Vt. on Saturday, March 10. (Other than a woman next to us checking her phone constantly and bouncing her legs through the entire show...we had a blast.)

On Sunday afternoon, a was in need of a Greek Tragedy and luckily the Yoh Theatre Players were performing "Bakkhai" this past weekend at the Yoh Theatre located at the Woodstock Union Middle and High School in Woodstock, Vt.
These actors are taking this play to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August. They have a GoFundMe set up to raise money for their trip: https://www.gofundme.com/yoh-goes-to-edinburgh-fringe
The acting, lighting, and costumes were top notch. I hope you had a chance to catch the performance.
