After years of having no real bathroom for staff and patrons and after months of construction, The Trustees of Weathersfield Proctor Library opened the library's new ADA Accessible bathroom in a Grand Flushing, Toilet Paper Ribbon Cutting event.
After years of having no real bathroom for staff and patrons and after months of construction, The Trustees of Weathersfield Proctor Library opened the library's new ADA Accessible bathroom in a Grand Flushing, Toilet Paper Ribbon Cutting event.
About 45 people attended the picnic of hot dogs, pizza and sub sandwiches then gathered in front of the new hallway door leading to the bathroom. Library Director, Mark Richardson cut the Toilet Paper Ribbon and declared the bathroom open and accessible to all.
A special cake was created for the event by The Little Cake Shoppe at Jennyridge Farm. The children at the Grand Opening were particularly interested in the cake.
