Prayer Services

STAMFORD Rev. Judith Alexis says she is holding a service Sunday at 6:15 p.m. at her church, L'Eglise de l'Epiphanie, which operates out of St. John's Church, at 628 Main St., in Stamford. People who would like to make financial, food and clothing donations can do so at the service.

WEST HARTFORD Richard Thibadeau, chairman of Medical Aid to Haiti, Inc., a newly-formed nonprofit based in West Hartford, is collecting donations to help victims of the earthquake. HEBRON The Rev. Michael Smith of The Church of the Holy Family in Hebron said the church will be taking up collection to help the church's sister parish in Haiti. Anyone interested in donating to the relief effort can send a check to The Church of the Holy Family, with a memo to Haitian relief, P.O. Box 146, Hebron, CT, 06248.

WESTPORT Save the Children, a charitable organization that has relief efforts in developing countries around the world, is seeking donations to help victims in the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake.
