2002 – Country singer Lyle Lovett suffers a compound fracture to his lower right leg when he is trampled by a bull at his uncle’s farm in suburban Houston.


1995 – Elton John and Tim Rice win the Oscar for Best Original Song from a Motion Picture with their song from”The Lion King.”, “Can You Feel The Love”.
