Reading Winter Concert Series-Spencer Lewis and Friends

Spencer Lewis and Friends (Niles Franc on upright bass and Kevin Wright on guitar) performed at the third in a series of four concerts of the newly formed “Winter Concert Series” in Reading, Vermont. The idea for the series came about when Reading resident and musician, Niles Franc approached the Reading Recreation Commission and suggested the series to increase the use of Robinson Hall. About 50 people attended the performance on Saturday, March 9.

One more show is scheduled for the Winter Concert series on April 13 at 7 p.m., featuring Gerry Marletta’s (concert series sound engineer) Alternative Rock band Monkey Pudding Face (https://monkeypuddingface.bandcamp.com/ ).


Admission is $10 for adults and children under 15 free, net proceeds go to four local non-profits serving Reading: Reading-West Windsor Food Shelf, the Reading PTO, WISE (which works to end gender-based violence) and Reading Greenspace. Organizers also asked that nonperishable food items be brought to the show for the food shelf.
