Hartland Vermont
Green Up Vermont celebrated 46 years of picking up trash around the State. Residents in Hartland met at the Town Garage to pick up bio-degradable trash bags, safety vests and to coordinate clean-up routes. Following the cleanup efforts a free picnic lunch was served at Damon Hall. This year the Conservation Commission also hosted a writing contest. Samples of the Hartland Elementary School children's works were on display.
