On a foggy and cool Sunday morning over 1200 mountain bikers and runners made their way around the back roads and hilly trails around West Windsor, all in support of Vermont Adaptive.

Vermont Adaptive got it's start in 1986 right here in West Windsor on Ascutney Mountain by Laura Farrell. Farrell also founded the Vermont 50 race. Her two sons Bobby and Brad compete each year in either the bike or run races.

This was the 23rd time this race was held and each year it sells out quickly on May 25th when all the races go on sale, a testament to how much fun folks have participating in this very special local event.
