What To Do In and Around Weathersfield, March 10
Spring is in the Air, must be time for...
The Town Challenge. It is THIS Saturday!
9th Annual Town Team Challenge
Weathersfield Proctor Library Board of Trustees is hosting their 9th Annual Town Challenge on n Saturday, March 14 at the Weathersfield School in Ascutney beginning at 7 p.m. It's time to get your teams together. Admission is free but donations for the Library will be accepted at the door. More info. call 802-674-2863.
The hot topic EVERYWHERE is Coronavirus (COVID-19) and NO you can't get it from drinking Corona, DUH!
You can however use common sense. And do things that your MOM has always told you to do-wash your hands, cover your cough-not with your hand but a tissue or cough into your elbow. Try not to touch your face. Maybe stop shaking people's hands, avoid large, closed meetings but most of all WASH YOUR HANDS!
As a retired scientist, I'm totally intrigued by this current pandemic; the way it's spreading across the globe and now here in our little isolated Upper Valley. I'm pretty sure it's going get bigger before it gets better. But it's not the end of time for humans. So relax and use your heads. AND WASH YOUR HANDS!
DHMC is putting out online updates for folks: https://www.dartmouth-hitchcock.org/patient-education/coronavirus.html?mc_cid=db5f79b237&mc_eid=62773da223

And if you're like me here's a MAP to follow the cases (but don't stress-just watch it as a scientist not a freaked out human)

And speaking of getting out...I did 3 concerts in 8 Days!
All three were at my favorite Vermont venue in Manchester VT -Billsville House Concerts.
Hawktail rolled into town on Feb. 27. They played instrumentals but boy were they telling tales in that music.

Next up was an amazing singer/songwriter from Alabama, John Paul White.
Jordan Tice of Hawktail was still in the area so Billsville invited him to open the show.

Sunday night rounded out the third show with Burlington VT via Long Island singer songwriter Caroline Rose and her band. She's on tour supporting her new album SUPERSTAR which she performed in its entirety. She closed the night with some fan favorites.
I also took videos at the shows. They're all on my Billsville Playlist on YouTube, but here's a sample.
