Weathersfield Weekly Blog October 25

October 25, 2017
Weathersfield, Vt.

Greetings from jolly old England! I’ve been touring around the U.K. and have fallen in love with the people and their country’s history. That said, I should have taken a crash course online before I left the States to understand more the kings/queens and conflicts that this land has seen for centuries. Starting in Edinburgh we headed south to Newcastle, onto Durham, York, Liverpool, Stafford-upon-Avon (saw the blood red doomsday sun!), Cardiff, Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury, ending in London. In London, I visited Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle (didn’t see the Queen but may have seen her Range Rover!), The Tower of London, cruised the Thames and followed in the footsteps of Inspectors Morse, Lewis and Endeavour in Oxford. It was quite a journey, one that I would do again in a heartbeat.
