Plane over the Rockies
Jay and I are ready for some time travel. Somehow we're leaving Auckland Dec. 1 at 3:30 p.m. flying into San Francisco and landing in Boston at 5:30 p.m on Dec. 1. OK...
We're up with the sun and heading down to the Auckland waterfront for the morning.
We heard that New Zealand has more boats per capita than anywhere in the world and seeing this harbor, I don't doubt it.
They even have a pop-up library.
And I finally got to see water draining counterclockwise. Weren't we all told this in school, that the south hemisphere is closer to the South Pole so water drains backwards...
Flying over The Rockies was pretty cool.
I just wish they were closer than 14 hours from Houston.
We're back in Vermont now and 11 days from Christmas. We have snow so the ski areas are happy and I am too. (I just don't like it when the temperature goes below 20 F)
Happy Holidays Everyone!
I hope you get to see New Zealand first hand some day.
