Take a short drive up Hartland Hill Rd and you'll see an old red barn. You might think it's home to some dairy cows, maybe a horse or two. You'd be wrong. This barn is the new home of New England Falconry. Michele Losee and Jessica Snyder are the caretakers of a couple Harris' Hawks and an Eurasian Eagleowl. The women feed and train these birds and are available to give lessons to the public. You can sign up for a session where you'll experience handling and flying a trained harris' hawk while learning about falconry.
