Dubbed as their "Farewell Tour" (the band's final three shows will be performed in New Orleans from 6/9-6/11, "The Last Watsui") the SOLD OUT crowd was there for, not farewells, but some serious dancing. The guys hit the stage at 8:15 and played a solid 2 hour show. They opened with "UFO's" and hit the highlights of their musical careers.

Ed Volker |
Ed Volker's handwritten set list was photogrpahed below. Following UFO's they dove into "Hardcore Medley" with a little Elvis Costello's "Pump it Up" woven in, onto "Honey From the Bee",
|
The Radz |
"Total Evaporation", "Further on Up the Road","Run Red Run", "Death of the Blues", "Wrestling with the Angel", "Tell Me How Do you Feel", The Ray Charles tune "I Wanna Know"--Volker was very animated on the Hammond XK-2 for this one!
|
Frank Bua |
Malone got the crowd to their feet with "Dragon's Blood" and they danced straight through "Suck the Head, Squeeze the Tip", the Bob Dylan tune "You Ain't Going Nowhere", "Lost Radio", "One-Eyed Jack", "Confidential", The Rolling Stone tune "Little Susie" with a little Maytals' "Pressure Drop" thrown in for good measure!

ENCORE:
The band returned to the stage and started in on a song I could not identify followed by "Soul Kitchen" a Doors tune. They closed with "Midnight Dream."
The band had played at the
Paramount Theatre in Rutland VT on Wednesday March 16 and are headed to Boston's
Paradise Club March 18 then off the
The Egg Albany on Saturday March 19 and that's it folks. If you want to see this band, and you should, you better get tickets for either the Boston of Albany show.
