In a split squad game against the Baltimore Orioles in Sarasota, FL, the visiting Boston Red Sox came away with a 10 inning tie. The Sox sent Jacoby Ellsbury and Carl Crawford along with mostly minor league players while the Sox veterans remained in Fort Myers to do battle with the Florida Marlins. Dice-K was severely roughed-up by the Marlins and the veteran squad lost 11-2.
Looks like the youngsters played a better game today and it was against the Orioles veterans.
