Weathersfield Weekly Blog, June 20

Let's hope the weather of the past weekend continues throughout the summer. It was a delightful weekend. I spent most of my time in Quechee at the Quechee Hot Air Balloon, Craft and Music Festival. I got to see some really great local bands, eat a little fair food and I saw a lot of hot air balloons. Sunday I was up before the birds and not only got to ride in a hot air balloon, I saw the most amazing sunrise.

The balloon ride was magical. Seeing the Quechee covered bridge, the Quechee Gorge and Deweys Pond from above was quite the experience. I've posted some photos below with links to my gallery.

School Food Survey
The school is looking for your opinion about their school food programs. The Windsor Southeast Supervisory Union school boards, including Windsor School, Albert Bridge School, Weathersfield School and Hartland Elementary School has formed a school food committee to gain greater understanding around the communities' opinions or values of our school food programs. Vital Communities' Upper Valley Farm to School Network is helping facilitate this discussion.

Please help by answering the following eight questions to let them know what is important to you about school meals. Plus, one lucky winner will walk away with a $25 gift certificate to Mike's Store in Hartland. Thank you for your assistance completing this short survey by Friday June 22, 2018.
