Weathersfield VT
January 4, 2017

Happy New Year! Well, 2017 is here. The children are back in school and parents are rejoicing (until February.) Are you making resolutions? I never really do; it's always seemed a weird thing to do on the last night of the year but some folks get really serious about the odd custom. I've seen so many resolve to do things in the coming year posted on various social media platforms that I'm wondering if the world will change or to quote the band U2 "Nothing changes on New Year's day." If nothing else, 2017 will be an interesting year in politics. The political arena is shaping up to be one of the most complex I think I've ever faced in my lifetime. Check back with me in June and we'll see how we've faired through half the year. On a happy note, my seed catalogs are arriving so I can start planning by garden. Cheers!
