Saturday night Damon Hall was rocking to the music of Jenna Rice, Iva Wich and the Woodstock Union High School Jazz/Funk Band Nonet. The 8th Annual Emerging Artist Showcase was hosted by Hartland Community Connections with support from Hartland Community Arts and the Town of Hartland. Following the two hour performance, a community supper was held in the basement with soup donated by The Windsor Station Restaurant and a variety of breads donated by King Arthur Flour. Nina Salvatore, Woodstock Union High School (WUHS) Art teacher, created a gallery of WUHS student works. Each performer took home a $50 gift certificate to Blue Mountain Guitar in West Lebanon, NH (HCA contributed $25, HCC, $10, Blue Mt. Guitar, $15.)

| Jenna Rice |
Jenna Rice performed five original songs. Jenna is on a gap year between college and high school. She'll be attending Sterling College in Craftsbury, VT to study sustainable agriculture.

| Iva Wich |
Iva Wich started playing guitar in fifth grade but has been singing her entire live. She's inspired by her mom and dad who are both musically inclined. Iva has studied voice with her mom, Laura Corcoran, a local blues singer and her dad, who owns Craig Wich Studio of Performing Arts in Florida. Her album will be out in April of all original music. And she'll be performing in Pentangle Players performance of CATS as Demeter, the main character in late April.
The evening closed with some swinging cool tunes performed by the Woodstock Union High School Jazz Funk Band Nonet.
