Happy 25th Anniversary Vermont 100 Endurance Run or Ride!
Laura Perry Farrell and Julia Hutchinson O'Brien The race preparation started last year as soon as the 24th Annual Race was cleaned up. And thanks to mother nature this past weekend, the 25th Annual Vermont 100 Endurance Run or Ride went off pretty much without a glitch (if you don't count the main tent blowing away Thursday night in the Thunderstorms!) The race is held every year to benefit Vermont Adaptive , a program founded by Laura Perry Farrell (pictured above) to provide sports and recreational opportunities to individuals with disabilities/handicaps, regardless of their ability to pay. The race had been run for many years by Julia Hutchinson's Dad. When "Hutch" passed away suddenly after a race one year, his daughter stepped up and took over as race director and has been doing a phenomenal job since (even running the race this year with her TWO MONTH OLD BABY GIRL!!)
