Black bear sighting along Rte. 106 in Reading VT On our way to a concert in Woodstock, VT we spotted this young bear at the edge of the woods along Route 106. It was scratching the fallen tree-looking for bugs?-and looked up so I could take it's photo. I used a 200mm lens and cropped heavily so he wasn't too close to us. More photos below.
