Exit Ate Reopens Under New Management News You Can Use ICYMI (In case You Missed It) On Easter Sunday, Exit Ate in Ascutney opened its door to some hungry folks. The restaurant is under new management and ready to bring customers back in for breakfast and lunch. Manager Tabatha Shahzad says for now they are open Wednesday-Sunday 7 a.m.-3 p.m. They serve breakfast all day; so if you want French toast for a late lunch-you got it. Shahzad said she wants to use as many local and "made from scratch" ingredients as she can. When I was visiting she was getting ready to make fresh corned beef hash. It smelled wonderful. Then she opened the oven and revealed a few batches of homemade muffins. Shahzad describes the menu as American café; Exit Ate offers "Build Your Own" crepes, sandwiches and omelets.
