Our first stop is a photo op at a private waterfall. Dverghamrar , Dwarf Cliffs Sort of across The Ring Road is our next stop-The Dwarf Cliffs. Dverghamrar , an Icelandic toponym literally meaning in French "the dwarf's cliffs", a set of basalt organ-like columns northeast of the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. At the end of the ice age, sea erosion created these columns. Iceland's Glaciers Vatnajökull National Park Back in the van we are treated to stunning views of Öræfajökull .
