Bernie Sanders may be labeled as not funny, but a group of entertainers from the Upper Valley and Burlington VT came together for a very funny night to benefit Sanders's 2016 Presidential Campaign. Billed as a "Comedy Night for Bernie Sanders", over 200 people packed the Briggs Opera House in White River Junction to witness their comedic efforts. The comedians performed skits and a mock Presidential Election Debate. Stand-up was provided by Burlington artists Hillary Boone and Bitsy Biron.
