West Windsor kicked off their 4th of July celebration with a bang on Friday night. In addition to their annual Fireworks display, The July 4 Committee hired the Royal Towne Brass Quintet (from Royalton VT) to entertain from 7-9 p.m.. Cheryl the Clown from Chester was on hand making balloon creations for all the youngsters and The West Windsor Moonlighter's Snowmobile Club provided dinner-which included burgers, dogs, onion rings, french fries and ice cream. Families were invited to bring picnics (but no grills) and enjoy the sunset while waiting for the fireworks.

The Fireworks started about 9:30 p.m. and lasted almost 30 minutes. Just when folks thought the finale had occurred, more rockets were launch; this happened three times to huge cheers from the hundreds of people who attended.

Donations for next year's celebration may be made to "Town of West Windsor, July 4th Fund" and mailed to Town of West Windsor, PO Box 37, Brownsville VT 05037. Follow the future events at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Brownsville-4th-of-July-Celebration/340057282847703?fref=ts
