Renée Taylor "My Life On A Diet"-A Benefit for Vermont Volunteer Services for Animals

Renée Taylor performed her one women, 90 minute play on Saturday night as a benefit for the Vermont Volunteer Services for Animals Humane Society. Ms. Taylor and her husband Joe Bologna are long time visitors to the area. They have spent many long weekends at the home of Nancy Anderson in Barnard working on scripts and generally enjoying themselves. Ms. Anderson said the Renée and Joe tell her that next to Italy the Woodstock area is their favorite place to visit.
Ms. Taylor is best know for her role on TV as Fran Drescher's Mother on "The Nanny."

The performance "My Life On A Diet" was a fund raiser for Vermont Volunteer Services for Animals (VVSA) Humane Society, a non-profit based in Bridgewater that is dedicated to reducing the suffering of animals and to create social change in humans attitudes toward animals. They even have their own weekly show on public access TV-"For The Animals." For more information about VVSA check out their website: http://www.fortheanimalsvt.org/

A Meet and Greet was held at Bentley's following the performance.
